Bare Minerals Foundation and Kat Von D Fragrance Review!

Hi everyone!

Hope you all have been doing well. I'm so sorry for the lack of posts I have been MIA since vacation and it has been so hard getting in the swing of things again. I totally meant to do two posts, one on Kat Von D's Fragrance and one on the Bare Minerals Foundation but I'm going to combine them for a fuller post for you all.

I recieved these products free to test from Influenster and I'm here to give you all my honest review!

Let's talk about the first box...

This one was Kat Von D's Saint and Sinner Voxbox. Kat Von D recently launched two fragrances, one called saint and one called sinner. As you can infer from the name, Saint is a lighter smelling scent and sinner is a deeper muskier scent. Saint is a floral fragrance that has key notes of vanilla, musk, and jasmine. Sinner on the other hand is a warm and spicy scent with key notes of patchouli, wood, and cinnamon.

So...which one did I love? I loved Saint!

I am always into light floral fragrances, anything to heavy can bother me or give me a headache. Saint has similar notes to fragrances I like such as jasmine and vanilla. I took this scent with me on my Vegas trip and loved it. I wore it everyday and it lasted! I am definitely going to repurchase the bigger version of this.

Sinner however is not my thing. My sister Sarah loves heavier fragrances, so I tossed this sample on to her!

I'm glad I got introduced into Kat Von D fragrances, I only used her makeup prior to this. The thing I love about influenster is they introduce you to knew things in the market that you may have missed.

On to the Bare Minerals Vox Box

For the past year or so, I have only used BB cream because I have been dealing with a lot of acne and I wanted to use something that was light and would let my skin breathe. My skin has improved tremendously and I have considered moving on to foundation...and then I got this box! This box included one full size foundation.

What kind of foundation is it? And what skin type?

This foundation is for any skin type whether you are sensitive, dry, oily, normal, combination, etc. The coverage of this foundation is fun and it includes spa 20 in it! It is a breathable foundation that is also matte and full coverage and comes in 30 shades.  It has no paragons, sulfates, or anything bad for your skin! It is also dermatologist tested and oil free, which are two big factors for me. I am very careful with what I put on my skin and this foundation is like a dream come true.  Already 8 of the 30 shades are sold out on Sephora, so if you have been debating for a new lightweight foundation I would grab this ASAP!

I received the shade Aspen, which I thought was a little light but in natural light its a perfect match!

My skin with the foundation:

All these pictures are unedited so you can see the coverage of the foundation!

As you can see, it is great full coverage. I used about 3 pumps, I like to build my coverage up. The foundation is flawless so if you are in the market for a new one, this could be it!

Hope you all enjoyed this post. Comment if you have any questions or anything you would like to see me post in the future.

Xoxo,
