Since the fall I have been purchasing a few items from amazon every month. I work with amazon in hopes that I can show all of you how to find great affordable pieces! I've had a couple people ask me HOW I find things on amazon. I never really thought about it, but I do have a lot of tips & tricks to shopping on Amazon and finding the right pieces.
- More often than not, you can return amazon items to Kohls. You do not even need a box or to print anything. Make sure you have the amazon app! I show them a barcode, they scan it & then are able to print a return label and box it for me.
- Sometimes you will have to return to UPS. It is still free returns as well!
2. Read size charts carefully - When I do purchase items that are not prime, they usually ship from China. As a warning, things from China usually run VERY small. For example, I normally wear a medium or large. In some cases, from items from China, I wear a 2xl. Be sure to know your measurements because most of those items take a while to ship (10-14 days) and most cases you can not return.
3. Read reviews - Reviews are everything on amazon! People will tell you things about their experience, how the item feels, how it was after being washed, etc. Reviews on amazon will always tell the truth about the item and influence my purchase. I try to leave as many reviews to help people!
4. BE SPECIFIC in your search - We have to remember that amazon has thousands and thousands of people who shop on their website and also thousands who sell on it too. If you're looking for black pants, do not just type black pants. Type the cut, style, etc. It will help narrow down your choices. For example, I like high waisted dress pants that tie at the waist. So I would type in high waist black skinny dress pant with tie. That result gave me 733 instead of just black pants which resulted in 30,000 options.
