Tips From A Face Mask Junkie

Hey everyone! It has been such a busy week for me that I almost forgot to post this little mini-review. I have been wanting to do this post ever since I started a blog. If you have not picked up on this by now, I LOVE face masks. I love putting them on, I love taking them off, I love how my skin feels after, the whole deal. I also always love trying new things. I do a mask about once a week, to clean out my pore and detox-- but most importantly relax. I love putting on a face mask and relaxing with a cup of tea during the week.

I think in reality I have tried like 30+ masks. I just love them. I am more into creamy masks than sheet masks. I currently have about 5 that I am using and will share my honest opinion about all of them.

1. Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay Mask

This mask is amazing. You can mix it with rose water or apple cider vinegar or just water. I love apple cider vinegar. You can keep this on for about 5-10 minutes then take off very gently with warm water. Your skin might be a little red but it is because it worked! Your skin will feel baby-smooth.

Pros: 100% Natural Clay -- there is nothing added or any fragrance. You can literally feel your face pulsing and your pores being extracted.
Cons: When is it close to the end of drying, the mask can fall into little pieces.
Price: 9.99

My Rating: 9.5/10

2. Lush Rosy Cheeks Fresh Face Mask

This mask is super soothing! When you need something to calm your skin if it has been red or irritated, this mask is the one.  This product contains chamomile which can help fade scars or acne spots.

Pros: It can help improve over all appearance of skin and old acne spots.
Cons: This is a fresh face masks so it is only good for about a week.
Price: 12:95
Where to buy: Lush (Click Here)
My Rating: 9/10

3. Kate Somerville Eradikate Face Mask

This mask goes on in gel form and then it foams up to help clear acne break outs.

Pros:  This one exfoliates dead skin cells and take them off the skin. This mask will turn into foam and dissolve all bacteria, impurities and dirt on your face. This is also very calming and soothing.
Cons:  Honestly nothing just washing it off is tough sometimes.
Price: $54

My Rating: 10/10

4. Mario Badescu Drying Mask

So I love this mask when you need a deep cleaning. It dries and really gets into your pores and digs impurities out. It reduces excess oil and dries out pimples.

Pros: I feel so refreshed after I use this. It gets deep in the skin and unclogs everything.
Cons: I am not even going to lie about this...this mask smells. This mask smells like a mix of sewer and cement. It's really strong but for me it works so well that it's worth it.
Price: $18
Where to buy: Nordstrom (Click Here)
My Rating: 8.5/10

5. Lancome Hydra Intense Masque

This mask is the best one in the winter time. My skin is always dry and dehydrated and this gives me the moisture I need.

Pros: Super moisturizing and gives my skin the extra hydration it needs during the harsh winter months. You also only have to leave it on for 5 minutes!
Cons: Not really applicable to my skin in summer months since I am more oil prone.
Price: $36
Where to buy: Nordstrom (Click Here)
My Rating: 9/10

Hope you guys enjoyed this post! I love face masks so I thought it would be fun to share my favorites.
