Trend Alert: Two Piece Sets

My love with two piece sets probably started last year. I was purchasing a pink blazer at Nordstrom Rack, and I came across the matching pink pants. I thought to myself, I would never really wear these pants alone, but together this might actually work. I took it to the dressing room, not thinking much of it but once I put it on and was in love! There is something so powerful and chic about a matching set.

When I was browsing Akira's website, the first tab I clicked on was matching sets. I love that there are so many types of sets, casual, athletic,  lounge, business, etc.  There is literally one for every one of my moods. I've rounded up my favorites in this post.

Sage Green Top & Skirt -  First of all, I am living for this color. I also love the simplicity of this set, and that the pieces can be dressed up or down. You can always pair this crop top with a denim skirt & sneakers. You can also always pair this skirt with a blouse and heels. There are so many ways to wear both pieces.

Blue Suit (Gifted) - This was obviously my choice and for good reason! I love blazers and I wear them religiously. This blue one will be the perfect rotation in my spring wardrobe. I also love how different these pants are! The slit is unlike anything I have and it gives a classy outfit a little bit of edge. For reference: I took a L in the blazer and an XL in the pants.

Nude Sweatpants  & Top - This is my go-to look on the weekends. You can pair this with any sneaker or slides and you look so chic and put together while running your errands.  I also love this nude color, it has a very yeezy vibe to it. Again, to re-iterate ( I might sound like a broken record but oh well!) both pieces can be worn with other pieces to create multiple looks.

Sweater Crop Top & Skirt - This is one I would not necessarily wear personally,  but I love it! I think a sweater set is perfect during the transition seasons.

Tell me, are you a fan of matching sets? If not, did I convince you? Haha I just love wearing them and I hope you found a set for your style in this post.
