4 Spring Trends 2021

So many cute things are trending right now that I am loving! I wanted to highlight a few of them below for you.

1. Straight leg jeans

All the Gen Z's are coming for millennials over this one. I just missed the cut off as a millennial so technically I'm a Gen Z but I definitely feel more like a millennial. I am loving straighter leg denim, I find it super flattering & comfortable. I've got a few pairs I love, I'll link them below.

Left: Outfit is from Wantable, sign up for a style edit. Jeans are by the brand Kenzie, size 8.

2. Corsets

Corsets are trending ever since Bridgerton hit Netflix. I couldn't help but love the fashion too! I got a corset dress from Lulu's that I love, but there are also a lot of cute corset tops on the market.

3. Color

Who doesn't love colors for Spring? Color just make me so happy and excited fort he upcoming season! Pastels are great tones right now for spring. Also, color blocking and pops of color are going to be big this summer.

4. Matching Sets

I feel like matching sets are always going to be in, but especially now. We are all still wearing lounge wear and when you wear one color you just look put together. I'm loving this sage green set from h&m for a casual option.

Sephora Sale 2020 must haves!

Hi everyone! Sephora sale is here. It iss about the only time I shop at Sephora. I'm sharing what I ordered below & some favorites as well!

Peace out pores- the BEST blackhead strips ever! They have a special ingredient that pulls impurities out of the skin. You can wear these overnight. They are so gross/oddly satisfying.

Laniege Lip Mask - I have had the original one for two years it lasts forever. I just ordered the gummy bear one. I put it on every night! So good, especially during the winter.

First Aid Beauty Acne Spot Treatment - This works really well! My brothers keep stealing it from me because they love it too so I'm ordering a back up.

Biossance Oil - Tea tree & squalene oil - I have heard good things and seems promising for my acne prone skin.

Dry Bar Triple Sec - Have not used but have heard great things! I recently bought the dry bar curler so I wanted to pick this up.

Other things I love from Sephora:

Happy shopping!

Feb Favorites

Hi ladies,
February went by so fast and I can't believe it's already March. This winter has been dragging and I'm craving more warmer weather fashion. These are some products that got me through the winter and made it a bit brighter.

1. Mac Turquatic Fragrance  - So let me just start off by saying I am very picky with my fragrances. I smelled this on a coworker and had to get it. To me it just smells very fresh and clean! It's a great price point for 57!

2. Hair Scarves - I can't get enough of these! They are so fun and feminine and there are so many ways to wear them! They are also a great price and a big trend for the upcoming season.

3. Marc Fisher Snakeskin boots - You guys were as obsessed with these as I am! So many of you bought them and I'm so happy. They live up to the hype - comfortable, cute, stylish & amazing!! A must have.

4. Bondi Sands Self Tanner - One of the main reasons I never did self tanning was because I could not find a formal I liked. This formula, scent, everything is amazing. The way it applies is so smooth, but I would definitely grab the mitt to help with that!

5.Forever 21 backpack bag - Ok so this bag is the closest I am getting to palm springs LV bag. It is so cute and edgy. I'm usually not a small purse person, but I just totally love this bag. Definitely something different. I also have stolen it from my sister (it was her bday present...oops) but I couldn't resist.

6. Rebecca Minkoff Watch - I am such a watch person and I was stunned that I never had gotten a leather band watch. The tan strap is gorgeous and I love the gold details. The price point is great too at $125

Hope you ladies enjoy!

How to transition your summer looks for fall

How to buy clothes that will transition into fall is something I always think about. Living in Chicago, you can get four seasons in one day. I try to focus on buying pieces that can be good for Winter or Summer. Two polar opposites, I know. Bear with me as I explain my logic!

1. Black Lace Cami - this thing is awesome. I layer it under all my cardigans, leather jackets, etc. It looks great and gives a feminine look to any outfit. It's also perfect in the summertime as is. For 12 dollars, it's a closet must have.

2. Paper Bag mini skirt - I love this skirt so much! I think the color is really important on why this piece transitions. It's an olive shade, so it works in winter and fall seasons.  I wear it in the winter with a black turtleneck, tights & booties. SO cute! In the summer, you can pair it with wedges and a cami. In the fall, trade it your wedges for open-toe booties & a light cardigan on top. I love the versatility of this skirt.

Amazon Buys under $20

Hi everyone! It was a close call between July Favorites & recent Amazon buys...but I am excited that you all wanted to see something new.  Since Prime day, I have been checking out amazon more and found some really great purchases. Check them out here!

Fashion:

1. Button Up Thermal -  So lately I feel like amazon has been coming out with a lot of clothing. I saw this button up, the price was under $20 with free returns. So I was like...worth a shot. There is a similar one at Nordstrom that sold out that I was interested in, so  I just took the plunge & ordered this. I seriously love it! I wore it the first day it came in the mail. Really comfy material and such a unique color.

2.  Nude Crossbody - I'm always looking for a good nude bag. I feel like that's the story of my life. This one looks super cute & under 20 -- can't wait to get it!

Accessories:

3. Pop Socket Mount -  SO useful for anyone who has a pop-socket on their phone. I have this mounted in my car and I just pop my phone in every time.
4. Rose Gold Top Hangers -  I own these and love how they look. So chic & worth it!
5. Rose Gold Bottom Hangers Just placed an order for these to complete my wardrobe.

Cherry Top For Work Or Play

Happy Saturday everyone

This is such a fun look that I've been wanting to share with you guys! This cherry top is instantly a new favorite for me. I'm not much of a button down kind of girl, unless it has a girly twist to it. This cherry one is perfect, and in stock right here for only 18!

My look:

Top // Denim // Shoes // Sunglasses // Bag

I paired it with my favorite crop slim boyfriend jeans. If you are on the hunt for a boyfriend jean that flatters a fuller figure, these are the ones. I feel like they hug in the right places and are the right amount of crop & right amount of skinny.  They also just went on SALE! For 89 - original 135ySuch a quality pair of denim I would recommend to anyone!
